3rd SAP Professional Journal article published

I am glad to let you know that my 3rd article in SAP Professional Journal has been published now. It will be getting published in hardcopy on 1st Oct 2010

 

Title: 6 Ways to Customize Your SAP NetWeaver Portal Pages for Maximum Impact 

 

Article talks about 6 different types of portal customizations. Some of them are basic customizations like Login page and std. portal components for e.g. masthead. Later in the article, some of the best practices about customizations are also discussed. SAP Eclipse theme editor is also discussed in the later sections. It briefs on how to develop a theme from scratch and expedite the process. It goes on to talks about accessibility and US law section 508 and WAI compliance of all customizations. Although customizations discussed are well versed to everyone, this article gets a step ahead to precisely list of what is needed to be done and what should not be done.
